This beautiful Lustre Vase is in excellent condition for its age being almost 100 years of age.
Depicting a large Gilded Dragon and Clouds the Vase Stands 26.5 cm in height and bears no chips, cracks or restoration. This lovely Vase has the Carlton Ware Crown Mark on the base with Pattern Number 2818.
Carlton Ware was a pottery manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent. The company was established in 1890 by James Frederick Wiltshaw, William Herbert Robinson and James Alcock Robinson trading under the name of Wiltshaw and Robinson. The trademark "Carlton Ware" was introduced in 1894. In the 1920’s and 1930’s Carlton Ware was credited with creating the pottery Art Deco movement.
